With the Monaco Korina, Hamer Guitars have designed a satisfyingly vintage looking, single-cut electric guitar with modern playability. The Wilkinson chrome finished wraparound bridge is comfortable against your right palm while the 24.75 inch scale length and ebony fretboard make grabbing notes and chords with your left hand a pleasure. Throw in two Hamer P90 Soapbar pickups and you have a versatile rock and blues machine that you know will clean up!
Monaco Korina: Broad possibilities
The ears of seasoned guitarists prick up when they hear the word 'korina'. Korina wood not only creates a similar tonal range as mahogany when used to build guitars, it's also a little lighter in weight and gives the sound a more developed mid-range. This makes for an outstanding choice for the Monaco Korina. With it, you get a lightweight instrument, capable of a broad pallet of sounds built on a foundation of full and natural warmth and brightness.
